FINAL CALL FOR PAPERS

EvoTransLog2008

Second European Workshop on Evolutionary Computation
in Transportation and Logistics

incorporated in Evo* 2008

Naples, Italy, 26-28 March 2008
http://www.evostar.org

EvoTransLog2008 addresses all aspects of the use of evolutionary
computation, local search, and other nature-inspired optimization and
design techniques for the transportation and logistics domain. Relevant
application topics include (but are not limited to):
- transportation and supply networks
- logistics
- freight and passenger services
- tracking and tracing
- fleet and order management
- modelling and traffic management
- traffic simulation
- individual and public transportation
- inventory optimisation
- routing and scheduling

EvoTransLog is dedicated to the application of heuristic optimization
methods to transportation and logistics. It gives European and
non-European researchers in those fields, as well as people from
industry, an opportunity to present their latest research and to
discuss
current developments and applications.

EvoTransLog2008 is part of Evo* 2008, a joint event which incorporates
EuroGP2008, EvoCOP2008, EvoBio2008, and EvoWorkshops2008, a
set of eight thematic workshops on applications of Evolutionary
Computation.

All papers accepted for EvoTransLog2008 will be published in the
Springer LNCS Series (Applications of Evolutionary Computation).
