Il Centro Militare di Studi Strategici, il CeMiSS , ha bandito il seguente avviso di selezione. Il primo fine di questa selezione è quella di determinare una figura professionale adeguata, in grado di realizzare uno studio preliminare, finalizzato a: Lo scopo dello studio è identificare soluzioni concrete e implementabili che consentano di accrescere la cooperazione tra mondo accademico e militare nell’utilizzo della Ricerca operativa, quale disciplina che utilizza strumenti diversificati per la soluzione di problemi complessi. Ciò al fine di consentire ai “decision makers” di scegliere le soluzioni migliori ed essere completamente consapevoli delle implicazioni che tali scelte determinano. Leggendo poi tra le righe dell'avviso, sembra evidente il vero obiettivo di lungo termine della selezione: quello di creare una solida base per introdurre in maniera efficace ed efficiente la ricerca operativa nelle decisioni di tipo strategico operate nella Difesa.
